“It is a great thing to know the season for speech and the season for silence.”
~ Seneca
Seasons have passed since I last wrote on this page. However, recently I wrote a personal post for Anita Klein, who unfortunately recently passed away. Anita was one of the strongest women I ever knew. She was grouped in with people that our family and close friends called, “the fighters.” Her strength and courage was so inspirational. Her effervescent disposition, unmatchable. She asked me to write for her; I wrote the post I shared. She asked me to write again; I planned on it. I regret my silence. Albert Camus said, “It is immoral not to tell.” It is now that I first feel what that means.
Her son, Jeff, is helping breathe life back in to Reach for the Stars. Though it flickered for a moment, as did I, never did it cease to be, and neither did I (at least not yet). So, with that I just want to say that I am reviving this blog. I can’t say how frequently I will use my voice, but I will use it; for the purposes of this page, it will be used in honor and dedication of Anita, the Cystic Fibrosis community, and all other fighters out there. Cystic fibrosis is often referred to as “65 roses.” My blog and the awareness it raises for those 65 roses, plus one for Anita, is in full bloom.
